Ani jedno ani druhe. Pri vyskorychlostnim narazu se kapalina atomizuje a nastava detonace. Toto je videt jasne na vsech vidozaznamech, kde se ukazuje priblizne stometrovy rudy mrak. Nezalezi, jestli jde o benzin, kerosin ci drevene piliny. Rozprasene palivo nebepcne detonuje. Jelikoz letadla nenesla plne nadrze, po vybuchu jiz moc paliva nezbylo, proto se ohen celkem rychle sam uhasil.
